Stellina is a very good little restaurant and the owner is cool and professional. If he really acted kike this, he has probably some good reasons.
Excellent quesadillas. A pleasure for both the eyes and the taste buds. Good products. An excellent lunch break after the market.
Delicious coffee. Good breakfast slightly pricey. Amazing decor.
Seriously ? We went to this place because it looked quaint and cute (great cups) the guy serving us was SO rude and we waited about 20 mins before he came to see us. Food was OK, and our empty plates sat in front of us until we left (not great when it's nice out and there are bugs and heat) When we paid the man was rude and barely looked at us. Would not recommend.
Yes the food, decor and presentation is good and great options for vegans. My German and Egyptian friends visiting loved it . I have taken friends who have enjoyed both breakfast and lunch. However the owner is rude, impolite . I have grown up at the Jean Talon Market, live near by and I am there every day to buy my groceries, I also give culinary food tours. I have often recommended it for lunch. However no more. There are so many wonderful places to eat at the market, where service is great, people are friendly. When I told those who have stalls at the market what happened they agreed and they too have stopped getting their coffee and lunch there. With 6,900 places to eat in Montreal and a market full of fresh local products... why would go back.
The guy at the cash was so rude! Food was very average! Btw omelet is a mix of eggs and cheese, didn't see any cheese in it forget about tasting lol a place like this next to the biggest market in the city should put fresh fruits on the table and also as far as I know we peel mangos no?
This little restaurant is what you could call "eatable art"
Best omelette I’ve ever had! The Moroccan salad on the side with pomegranates is to die for. Beautiful ingredients, maybe a little pricey but worth it. Amazing bread and great coffee. A unique Moroccan brunch!
At first glance the breakfast looked expensive. Glad we decided to stay. Fresh quality ingredients and an awesome selection of fruits and jam (made fresh). Never had a mushroom omlette so good. Definitely worth going.
This restaurant is for those who love food and attention to detail. Love goes into everything they do from sandwiches to omelettes and the coffee!
Some veg optons
Nestled in the middle of the high-heeled jean market, the stellina knows how to welcome and offer you a moment of calm, almost a change of scenery. It's beautiful, it's good, the boss understands you at a glance and will only deliver 2 to 3 well-understood words. He is a craftsman who puts love on the plate as well as good products, all at a reasonable price.I would have been disappointed to see it disappear ...If you are in Montreal, come and discover this charming place :)
It's well worth the visit to enjoy brunch or a coffee break while shopping at the market. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The homemade jam is delicious.
I've been coming here for years, the food is made with love and is absolutely delicious, cooked and seasoned to perfection. If you want a regular eggs, toast potatoes plate, this is not for you. If you want a divine spinach-goat cheese omelette with aniseed, accompanied by yummy toast with fig jam, fresh fruit and an original side salad, come here. It's not a bustling hipster joint, their marketing chops are not really up to par, and sometimes their wait staff are in training, but the food is outstanding.
Delicious food. Fresh fruit juices. Cute dishes presentations.
I don’t understand the negative reviews?! The place is awesome! The food is amazing, the service is fantastic and friendly. The display of sandwiches is a work of art. The decor is so cute and the atmosphere is welcoming. Go check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
impolite and very rude. I wouldn't recommend it.
Love this tiny café atmosphere
Very rude staff.
Awesome food and coffee.
Hands down the best breakfast i've had ever. Very good place not to miss
The food is just excellent, I highly recommend after a little tour on the market. Very good value for money
Absolutely the best breakfast we have had in Montreal so far. Friendly staff.
A real stroke of luck, when we came to the visit of the Marché of hunger. Lovingly prepared sandwiches and salads with healthy ingredients. Very friendly service
Excellent coffee and lunch, refreshing and unique flavors. Attentive presentation. To try !
Poor customer service, almost waiting for 1hour for our order and then they said sorry we will bring a croissant till we make your order so we ended up having nothing also they forget to bring even a coffee
I don't understand the negative reviews. The food is delicious, made fresh; with lots of fruits and vegetables on the plate. There is attention to details, and all the food on the plate is unique, and seasonsed well. The prices are fair and I left very full after my meal. To add the decor was extremely cute and also had much attention to detail in it. Loved it!
Super cute cafe with a wide range of counter sandwiches
Fantastic food and an awesome spot!
Excellent service. Excellent food, fresh and tasty. Perfect combination of flavors, it's different and excellent! Nice little discovery!
